Drake Bay is in the Osa Peninsula in the Puntarenas Region. It is a nature lovers destination when you just want to get away from busy life of the city. Drake Bay aka (Bahia Drake) is on the north side of the Osa Peninsula coast of Costa Rica. Traditionally only accessible by boat, however now accessible by car during dry season (drive for the experienced only). Drake Bay is a tropical rain forest getaway. Eco Tourism is at its best in this area as it is largely untouched and a raw in nature. While its probably not the best destination on your first trip to Costa Rica you might want to see it if your a regular here. From Drake bay towards the edge of Corcovado National Park is a stretch of coast that is known for some eco lodges that let you take in nothing but nature. It really is a get away from the daily grind and back with nature.
