Day 1.Arrival Day – San Jose
Upon Arrival Costa Rica Vacations provides
transfers from the San José airport to
your San José hotel for a one night
stay. (Rooms are available for check
in after 3:00 p.m.)

Day 2.Arenal (150KM)
In the morning, a Costa Rica Vacations
representative will deliver your all terrain
vehicle, familiarize you with the car,
explain the itinerary and hand over your
travel documents. Travel from San Jose
to Arenal (3 ½ hrs): Visit the town of La
Fortuna balance of day at leisure.

Day 3.Sarapiqui(85 KM)
Head for Sarapiqui today to discover the
wildlife rich rainforest of the Caribbean
coast (2 hrs).
Optional afternoon activities:
Hike the trails of the Tirimbina Rainforest Reserve with trained naturalist guide to help uncover and
interpret the secrets of the tropical
rainforest ($20).
Overnight at El Bambo
Day 4.Sarapiqui
In the morning, undertake one or more
of these optional activities.

Day 5.Puerto Viejo (200 KM)
Drive to the Costa Rica Caribbean coast
and enjoy the tropical beaches (4 hrs).
Check into your hotel and spend the
afternoon relaxing by the palm studded
beaches or stroll through the laid-back
town of Puerto Viejo.
Overnight at El Bambo
Day 6.Puerto Viejo (200 KM)
Visit Cahuita Nat’l Park and its pristine
beaches, offering some of the best
snorkeling in Central America. Or, take
a trip to the village of Bribri and visit the
one of the view remaining indigenous
tribes of Costa Rica. These are some of
the activities available to you during your
stay in this idyllic region of Costa Rica.
